Heavy Duty Suspension Package for the Discovery 1: heavy duty springs and dampers rated for a permanently loaded vehicle.

A modest lift gives clearance for larger tyres and better approach and departure angles. Too much lift, or a lift without the matching parts, gives worse handling, worn joints and propshaft vibration. Our kits are the height we would run ourselves, with the parts that height actually needs, and we say plainly what changes on the road. The Discovery 1 shares its chassis design and drivetrain with the Defender and the Range Rover Classic, and it rusts in the same places.

Fitting

Labour guide: about 5 hours, included. Land Rover changes specification mid production, often by VIN rather than by model year, so send the VIN or the registration with the order and we confirm the part against the build data before anything leaves. Parts Only is the parts delivered to you or your garage, with our fitting notes. Fitted With Alignment is fitted at our workshop with a four wheel alignment and headlamp aim afterwards, which a raised or modified vehicle needs.
