A modest lift gives clearance for larger tyres and better approach and departure angles. Too much lift, or a lift without the matching parts, gives worse handling, worn joints and propshaft vibration. Our kits are the height we would run ourselves, with the parts that height actually needs, and we say plainly what changes on the road. The Evoque shares its driveline with the Freelander 2, so the power transfer unit and rear coupling faults are the same ones on a smarter car.

Fitting

Labour guide: about 5 hours, included.
