Freelander 2 Injector Set

Injector Set for the Freelander 2: a set of injectors, remanufactured and flow tested or new.

Timing belts, chains, gaskets, injectors and the parts that keep these engines running. The TDV6 runs two timing belts, one at the front and one at the rear driving the fuel pump, and both need doing. The Td5 wicks oil up the injector loom into the engine management plug. Each listing states the known fault it is there to fix. The Freelander 2 is the most common vehicle through our IRD workshop by some distance, because its power transfer unit and rear coupling are both known weak points.

Labour guide: about 3 hours. Land Rover changes specification mid production, often by VIN rather than by model year, so send the VIN or the registration with the order and we confirm the part against the build data before anything leaves. It takes two minutes and it is the difference between a part that fits and a return. We are an independent Land Rover specialist and parts supplier. We do not sell particulate filter deletes, EGR blanking plates, AdBlue emulators or emissions defeat software. They are illegal on a road vehicle in the UK, an MOT failure and they void insurance.

Which version to buy

Remanufactured is stripped to the casting, measured, rebuilt with new bearings seals and wear parts and rig tested, with a surcharge refunded on your old unit. New Unit is a brand new unit rather than an exchange, for when your old one is past rebuilding or you cannot be without the vehicle while we assess the core.
