Diesel Particulate Filter Replacement for the Discovery 3: a type approved replacement particulate filter with the pressure sensor and gaskets, and the cause of the blockage diagnosed first.

The 2.7 and 3.0 V6 diesels in the Discovery 3 and 4, the Sport and the later L322 can spin a bearing and break the crankshaft, which is an engine out job and the single largest bill these vehicles produce. The early signs are low oil pressure warnings, a knock at idle and metal in the oil. These packages rebuild the engine properly with the revised parts, rather than dropping in a used engine with the same history. The Discovery 3 was the first on the integrated body frame and the first with full air suspension as standard, which is where most of its bills come from.

OE Supplier is made by the firm that supplies the factory, in its own box rather than a dealer box. Same part, same line, typically 30 to 40 per cent cheaper than the dealer.
