These are the packages we would build for our own vehicles before a long trip: the parts that fail far from home, the protection that stops a rock ending the journey, and the equipment that makes living out of the vehicle possible. Each one lists its weight, because an expedition vehicle is usually overweight before it has left the country and payload is the thing people forget to check. The Discovery 2 is the Td5 era, with self levelling rear air on some cars and ACE active roll control on others, and both matter when you order suspension.

Fitting

Labour guide: about 14 hours. Land Rover changes specification mid production, often by VIN rather than by model year, so send the VIN or the registration with the order and we confirm the part against the build data before anything leaves. It takes two minutes and it is the difference between a part that fits and a return. We are an independent Land Rover specialist and parts supplier. Everything we sell is chosen for vehicles that actually get used: towed with, loaded, driven through water and parked in fields, rather than for the brochure. Any modification that changes ride height, tyre size, weight or appearance must be declared to your insurer before you drive the vehicle. Raised vehicles need the headlamp aim reset and a four wheel alignment, and the MOT tester will look at both.

Parts Only is the parts delivered to you or your garage, with our fitting notes. There is one specification of this, because it is the one we would fit to our own vehicles and a cheaper version would not be doing you a favour.
