Discovery 2 Full Service Kit

Full Service Kit for the Discovery 2: oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, cabin filter and the correct engine oil.

A proper service on one of these vehicles is more than oil and a filter. The fuel filter, the air filter and the swivel, axle and transfer box oils are all on the schedule, and they are the ones that get skipped. Every kit here is matched to the engine and lists exactly what is in the box. The Discovery 2 is the Td5 era, with self levelling rear air on some cars and ACE active roll control on others, and both matter when you order suspension.

Fitting

Labour guide: about 2 hours. Land Rover changes specification mid production, often by VIN rather than by model year, so send the VIN or the registration with the order and we confirm the part against the build data before anything leaves. Which version to buy

OE Supplier is made by the firm that supplies the factory, in its own box rather than a dealer box. Same part, same line, typically 30 to 40 per cent cheaper than the dealer. Genuine Boxed is in the manufacturer's own packaging with the manufacturer's number on it. Worth it for warranty work, lease returns or a car with full dealer history, and not otherwise. Premium Aftermarket is a well regarded aftermarket maker that is not the original supplier. Generally good, and we say where the differences are.
