Propshafts, universal joints, drive flanges and half shafts take every bit of torque the engine makes, and they fail with a clunk, a vibration or a sudden loss of drive. Most of it is cheap to replace before it fails and expensive after. The 110 is the working Defender: farms, estates, utilities and expeditions, usually loaded and usually towing.
